Ingredients:
For the Steak:
2 ribeye steaks (8 oz each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Shrimp:
1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
For the Garlic Butter:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Directions:
Prepare the Steaks:
Pat the steaks dry and rub with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare or adjust to your preferred doneness. Remove steaks and let them rest.
Cook the Shrimp:
Toss shrimp with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
In the same skillet, cook the shrimp over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low and melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in parsley and lemon juice.
Assemble the Dish:
Plate the steaks and shrimp together. Drizzle generously with the garlic butter sauce. Garnish with extra parsley if desired and serve immediately.
