Would you eat this Chili Cheese Dog Sandwich

 

Ingredients:

For the Sandwich:

4 hot dog buns
4 beef hot dogs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced onions (optional)
1 tablespoon butter
For the Chili:

1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:

Prepare the Chili:

In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cook the Hot Dogs:

Grill or pan-fry the hot dogs until cooked through and slightly charred.
Assemble the Sandwiches:

Lightly butter the inside of the hot dog buns and toast them in a skillet until golden brown.
Place a hot dog inside each bun. Top with a generous scoop of chili and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
Optionally, add diced onions for extra flavor.
Melt the Cheese:

Place the assembled sandwiches under a broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
