World’s Best Honey Garlic Pork Chops

Ingredients
For the Pork Chops:
🥩 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
🧂 Salt and black pepper to taste
🥄 1 teaspoon paprika
🥄 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
🧄 4 cloves garlic, minced
🍯 ⅓ cup honey
🥄 2 tablespoons soy sauce
🍋 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
🌶️ ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
1. Season the Pork Chops
Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel.
Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2. Sear the Pork Chops
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer.
4. Glaze the Pork Chops
Return the pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the sauce over them and simmer for 5–6 minutes, flipping once, until the pork is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F).
Let the sauce reduce slightly to coat the pork chops in a sticky glaze.
Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley or chives and serve hot with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a side of rice.
Tips for Success
Perfect Sear: Make sure your skillet is hot before adding the pork chops to achieve a golden crust.
Sauce Consistency: If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of water to loosen it.
Customize Heat: Adjust red pepper flakes to your desired spice level.
