World’s Best Honey Garlic Pork Chops

Ingredients
π₯© 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

π§ 3 cloves garlic, minced

cup honey
π₯ ΒΌ cup soy sauce
π₯ 1 tablespoon olive oil
π 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pork Chops
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
2. Sear the Pork Chops
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the pork chops and cook for 3β4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. SautΓ© for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Simmer for 2β3 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken slightly.
4. Glaze the Pork Chops
Return the pork chops to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
Cook for 3β4 more minutes, flipping the pork chops once, until they are cooked through (internal temperature of 145Β°F) and coated in the sticky sauce.
Serve
Transfer the pork chops to a serving plate and drizzle with the remaining sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley or sesame seeds if desired.

Sauce Thickness: If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water and stir it into the sauce while simmering.
