Sweet & Savory Caramelized Pulled Beef Brisket

Ingredients:
– 2 onion, sliced
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup beef broth
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 3 pounds beef brisket
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). This slow cooking method will help tenderize that brisket perfectly.

2. In a large oven-safe pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and garlic, cooking until they are soft and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.

3. Season the brisket on both sides with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Add the brisket to the pot, searing it for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it’s browned.

4. In a bowl, mix together beef broth, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the brisket in the pot.

5. Cover the pot with a lid or aluminum foil, and transfer it to the preheated oven. Let it cook low and slow for about 4 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily pulled apart with a fork.

6. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Use two forks to shred the beef into bite-size pieces.

7. Serve the caramelized pulled beef brisket warm, garnished with fresh parsley. This dish goes well with mashed potatoes or in sandwiches!
