Slow Cooker Cracker Barrel Fried Apples

 

Ingredients:
– 2 tablespoons cornstarch
– 3-4 lbs apples, peeled and sliced into wedges

Instructions:
1. Start by peeling and slicing your apples into wedges. Aim for uniform pieces for even cooking.
2. In a large bowl, toss the apple wedges with the cornstarch until evenly coated. This will help thicken the mixture as it cooks.
3. Transfer the coated apple wedges to your slow cooker.
4. Add any additional ingredients for flavor, such as sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to enhance the sweetness. You can also add a little water or butter for moisture.
