Potato Gratin with Ham and Cheese

 

Ingredients:

4 large potatoes, thinly sliced πŸ₯”

200g cooked ham, diced πŸ–

300ml heavy cream πŸ₯›

200g grated cheese (GruyΓ¨re or mozzarella) πŸ§€

2 garlic cloves, minced πŸ§„

1 teaspoon dried thyme 🌿

Salt and black pepper to taste πŸ§‚

Fresh parsley for garnish 🌱

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). πŸ”₯

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. πŸ₯„

3. Grease a baking dish with butter and layer half of the potato slices at the bottom. 🧈

4. Spread half of the diced ham over the potato layer, followed by half of the grated cheese. πŸ₯”πŸ§€

5. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, ham, and cheese. πŸ–

6. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the layers. πŸ₯›

7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. ⏱️

8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly. ✨

9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. 🌱
