Potato Gratin with Ham and Cheese

Ingredients:
4 large potatoes, thinly sliced π₯
200g cooked ham, diced π
300ml heavy cream π₯
200g grated cheese (GruyΓ¨re or mozzarella) π§
2 garlic cloves, minced π§
1 teaspoon dried thyme πΏ
Salt and black pepper to taste π§
Fresh parsley for garnish π±
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). π₯
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. π₯
3. Grease a baking dish with butter and layer half of the potato slices at the bottom. π§
4. Spread half of the diced ham over the potato layer, followed by half of the grated cheese. π₯π§
5. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, ham, and cheese. π
6. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the layers. π₯
7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. β±οΈ
8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly. β¨
9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. π±
