Polish Sauerkraut Soup

🔸 Ingredients:
– 1 pound fresh green cabbage or 2 cups sauerkraut
– 1 pound pork (shoulder or smoked sausage), cut into bite-sized pieces
– 2 medium carrots, sliced or diced
– 1 large onion, chopped
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
– 2 bay leaves
– 1 tsp black peppercorns
– 1 tsp caraway seeds
– salt to taste
– black pepper to taste
