Pillsbury Crescent Roll Taco Bake

Ingredients:
– 1 pound lean ground turkey
– 1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1 cup taco sauce
– 1/2 cup diced onion
– 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
– 1 cup diced bell pepper
– Sour cream (for serving)
– Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish lightly.

2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the lean ground turkey along with the diced onion and bell pepper. Cook until the turkey is browned and the vegetables are tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.

3. Stir in the taco seasoning and black beans, mixing well. Add the taco sauce and allow it to simmer for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until everything is heated through.

4. Unroll the Pillsbury crescent rolls and lay them in the prepared baking dish, pressing the seams together to create a solid base.

5. Spoon the turkey mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.

6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the turkey mixture.

7. Bake the Taco Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

8. Let it cool slightly before serving. Top with sour cream and garnish with fresh cilantro for an extra burst of flavor.
