Pan-Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients

๐ฟ ยฝ teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary

๐ง 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions
1. Season the Pork Chops
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
2. Heat the Pan
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Cook the Pork Chops
Place the pork chops in the skillet and cook for 4โ5 minutes on one side, until golden brown.
Flip the chops and add the butter to the skillet.
Spoon the melted butter over the pork chops as they cook for another 4โ5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145ยฐF.
4. Rest and Serve
Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 3โ5 minutes.
Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite side dishes.
