Ingredients:
– 16 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
– 16 oz Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 4 large eggs
– 2-3 fresh jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and eggs. Whisk them together until smooth.
3. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
4. Fold in the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and diced jalapeños until evenly distributed.
5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
