225g halloumi
1.5 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon dried chili flakes
120g extra light cream cheese
Pinch of sea salt and black pepper
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 vegetable stock cube
250g dried pasta
Directions:
1. Mix together the honey and chili flakes.
2. Boil the pasta as per pack instructions, keeping some pasta water.
3. Slice the halloumi into small chunks and fry in a dry pan until golden.
4. Reduce heat and add the spicy honey. Coat the halloumi and cook until golden. Set aside.
5. Add cream cheese to the same pan with the leftover honey and stir until melted.
6. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and crumble the stock cube in.
7. Gradually add pasta water to create a rich sauce.
8. Add half the halloumi back, stir in the pasta until coated in the sauce.
9. Scatter the remaining halloumi on top and serve.
