Honey Lemon Pepper Wings

Ingredients
For the Wings:

2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes 🍗
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Honey Lemon Pepper Sauce:

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 🧈
1/4 cup honey 🍯
1 tablespoon lemon juice 🍋
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Prepare the Wings:

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
Season the Wings: In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
Make the Sauce:

Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, and black pepper. Heat until combined and slightly thickened.
Coat the Wings:

Toss with Sauce: Remove the wings from the oven and immediately toss them in the honey lemon pepper sauce until evenly coated.
Serve and Enjoy:
Transfer the wings to a serving plate, garnish with additional lemon zest or parsley, and enjoy hot!

Tips for Success
Pat the wings dry with paper towels for crispier skin.
For extra crispiness, broil the wings for the last 2–3 minutes of baking.
Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
