Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts

 

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 tablespoons honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions:

Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in honey, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them in the honey garlic sauce. Cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
