Honey Garlic Butter Steak and Rice Skillet

Ingredients:
1 lb beef steak (cut into strips)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 cup rice (uncooked)
2 cups beef broth
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the Steak:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the beef steak strips with salt and pepper, then cook them in the skillet until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Cook the Rice:
Add the uncooked rice to the skillet with the sauce, then pour in the beef broth. Stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Let the rice cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is fully absorbed.
Combine Steak and Rice:
Once the rice is cooked, add the cooked steak back into the skillet. Stir to combine and let everything heat through for a few minutes.
Serve:
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
