Grilled Swordfish with Mango Salsa

Ingredients π
For the Swordfish:
4 swordfish steaks (6 oz each) π
2 tbsp olive oil π«
Juice of 1 lime π
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder
Salt and freshly ground black pepper π§
For the Mango Salsa:
1 ripe mango, diced π₯
1/2 red onion, finely chopped π§
1 red chili, finely chopped (optional for heat) πΆοΈ
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped πΏ
Juice of 1 lime π
Salt to taste π§
Instructions π
Marinate the Swordfish:
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Brush the mixture onto both sides of the swordfish steaks. Let marinate for 15β20 minutes while you prepare the salsa.
Make the Mango Salsa:
In a medium bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, chili (if using), cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Toss gently and set aside.
Grill the Swordfish:
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates.
Place the swordfish steaks on the grill and cook for 4β5 minutes per side until just cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 130Β°F (54Β°C).
Serve:
Plate the swordfish steaks and top each with a generous scoop of mango salsa. Garnish with additional cilantro and lime wedges.
