Garlic Butter Lobster Tails

Ingredients:
– 6 lobster tails (4–5 oz each)
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
– 3 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
– Salt and black pepper, to taste
– 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
– Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Begin by preheating your oven’s broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil to make cleanup easier. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut slit down the top shell of each lobster tail, going lengthwise. Gently pull the lobster meat out of the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and lay it on top of the shell for a beautiful presentation.
2. Make the Garlic Butter Mixture:
In a small bowl, mix together the melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), and season with salt and black pepper. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined.
3. Season the Lobster:
Place the prepared lobster tails on the lined baking sheet. Take the delicious garlic butter mixture and generously brush it over the lobster meat, making sure to coat it evenly. Set aside a small portion of the garlic butter for later use.
4. Broil the Lobster Tails:
Slide the baking sheet under the broiler and cook the lobster tails for 8–10 minutes. Keep a close watch as they cook, ensuring that the meat turns opaque, is tender, and develops a lovely golden hue on top. Remove from the oven once done.
5. Serve:
Drizzle the reserved garlic butter mixture over the lobster tails for an extra touch of flavor. Garnish with the fresh parsley for a pop of color, and serve immediately with lemon wedges to add a zesty kick.
Tips:
Consider pairing these luscious lobster tails with garlic bread, creamy mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad for a delightful and memorable meal. To elevate your dining experience, provide a small bowl of warm melted butter for dipping.
