Fabulous Almond Cake by Mother-in-law

200 grams of butter, softened
200 grams of sugar
200 grams of almond powder
4 eggs
1 teaspoon of almond extract
200 grams of flour
1 bag of chemical yeast
Icing sugar for decoration

Preheat the oven to 180Β°C.
In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until you get a creamy mixture.
Add almond powder, eggs (one at a time), and almond extract. Mix it up well.
Incorporate flour and yeast chemical. Mix until you get a homogeneous batter.
Pour batter into a buttered and flourished cake mold.
Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cake cool before sprinkling with icing sugar.
