Delicious Beef Lo Mein

Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
8 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup sliced carrots
1 cup sliced bell peppers (red, green, or yellow)
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup snow peas
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water slurry
Green onions, chopped for garnish
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:
Preparation: Marinate the beef in soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes. Cook the lo mein noodles as per package instructions and drain.

Cooking: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, stir-fry the beef until browned, then set aside. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic, add vegetables, and stir-fry until tender-crisp. Mix in the beef and noodles. Combine the sauces and pour over the mix. Thicken with the cornstarch slurry.

Final touches: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
