Creamy Banana Bread Bliss

 

Moist, flavorful, and bursting with banana goodness! This Cream Cheese Banana Bread is the perfect choice for breakfast or an afternoon treat.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1/4 cup sour cream

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

Directions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.

3. Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

4. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is well combined before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.

5. Banana Mixture: In a separate bowl, mix the mashed bananas, sour cream, and softened cream cheese until smooth.

6. Combine Everything: Gradually mix the banana mixture into the butter mixture. Fold in the dry ingredients, being careful not to overmix.

7. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
