Cinnamon Roll Cake

 

Ingredients:
– 4 teaspoons baking powder
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup white sugar
– 1 cup butter, softened
– 1 cup butter, melted
– 1 cup milk
– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
– 2 eggs
– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, milk, white sugar, eggs, baking powder, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and salt until everything is well-combined. Stir in the melted butter.

3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.

4. In another large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, and ground cinnamon until smooth. Then, drop this mixture by spoonfuls over the batter, creating small dollops.

5. Use a knife to swirl the top layer into the bottom layer to give it a beautiful marble effect.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out nearly clean.

7. While the cake cools slightly, prepare the glaze by mixing confectioners sugar, milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth.

8. Drizzle this delicious glaze over the warm cake for the perfect finishing touch.
