Cinnamon Apple Delight Bake

 

Ingredients:
– 2 cups of sliced apples
– 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
– 1 cup of rolled oats
– 1/2 cup of brown sugar
– 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
– 1/4 cup of melted butter
– 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– Pinch of salt
– Optional: chopped nuts or raisins for added texture

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with the ground cinnamon and a sprinkle of brown sugar. Toss until the apple slices are well coated.

3. In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, melted butter, remaining brown sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is crumbly.

4. Spread the cinnamon apple mixture evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish.

5. Top the apple layer with the oat mixture, spreading it evenly over the apples.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.

7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Optional: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra delight!
