Cheesy Vegetarian Baked Spaghetti

 

Ingredients:
– 8 ounces spaghetti
– 1 cup ricotta cheese
– 2 cups marinara sauce
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 cup chopped spinach
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

4. In a large baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom.

5. Layer half of the cooked spaghetti over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.

6. Repeat the layers with the remaining marinara sauce, spaghetti, ricotta mixture, and finish with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

7. Drizzle olive oil over the top for added flavor.

8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.

10. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm. Enjoy your cheesy delight!
