Beef Stir-Fry with Bell Peppers Recipe
Ingredients:
500g beef strips 🥩
1 red bell pepper, sliced 🌶️
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced 🌶️
1 green bell pepper, sliced 🌶️
2 tbsp soy sauce 🥢
2 tbsp oyster sauce 🥄
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
2 tbsp vegetable oil 🛢️
2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
2 cups cooked white rice 🍚
Green onions, chopped 🌱
Steps:
1. Cook the beef:
Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a skillet or wok.
Add beef strips and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
2. Stir-fry vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil.
Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add bell peppers. Cook until slightly tender.
3. Make the sauce:
Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and the cornstarch mixture to the skillet. Stir until the sauce thickens.
4. Combine:
Return the beef to the skillet and toss with the sauce and vegetables.
5. Serve:
Spoon the stir-fry over a bed of white rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
