Bacon and Cheese Quiche

 

Ingredients:

1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup heavy cream
3 large eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
Layer the crumbled bacon, shredded cheeses, and chopped onion in the pie crust.
Pour the egg mixture over the top and gently stir to combine.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
Let cool slightly before slicing and serving. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner!
