Chicken drumsticks or thighs (2 lbs)
Buttermilk (1 cup)
Large egg (1)
All-purpose flour (1 cup)
Paprika (1 tsp)
Garlic powder (1 tsp)
Onion powder (1 tsp)
Salt (1 tsp)
Black pepper (½ tsp)
Cayenne pepper (optional for spice, ½ tsp)
Cooking spray

1.Marinate the Chicken:
Combine buttermilk and egg in a bowl. Submerge the chicken and let it marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight for better flavor.
2.Prepare the Coating:
Mix the flour with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne in a separate bowl.
3.Coat the Chicken:
Take the chicken out of the marinade, letting excess drip off, and coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.
4.Preheat the Air Fryer:
Heat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes and spray the basket with cooking spray.
5.Cook the Chicken:
Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch. Lightly spray the chicken with cooking spray.
6.Air Fry to Perfection:
Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
