Sweet & Spicy Korean Fried Chicken

 

🍂Ingredients
1 kg chicken wings
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup cornstarch
Oil for frying
For the Sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tbsp sesame oil
For Garnish
Sesame seeds
Sliced green onions

🍂Instructions :

1.Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper, then coat evenly in cornstarch.

2.Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken in batches until golden and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

3.For the sauce, combine soy sauce, honey, gochujang, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.

4.Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.

5.Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
