Sautéed Beef with Vegetables and Steamed Broccoli

 

Ingredients :
Sirloin beef: 500 g
Soy sauce: 2 c. eating soup
Sesame oil: 1 c. eating soup
Vegetable oil: 1 c. eating soup
Garlic : 2 cloves (minced)
Fresh ginger: 1 tsp. Eating soup ( shred )
Red pepper: 1 (cut into pieces)
Green pepper: 1 (cut into pieces)
Carrot: 1 (cut into thin rounds)
Broccoli: 200 g (cut into florets and steamed)
Fresh mushrooms: 100 g (finely sliced)
Sesame seeds : 2 c. eating soup
Salt and pepper: to taste
Boiled rice: to go with

Preparation:
1. Beef Marinade:
Slice the beef in thin layers. Mix soy sauce and sesame oil in a bowl, then let the beef strips marinate for 15 minutes.

2. Preparation of vegetables:
Peel and chop garlic and ginger. Cut the peppers, carrots, and broccoli into small pieces. Thinly slice the mushrooms.

3. Cooking the beef :
Heat a frying pan or wok with vegetable oil over high heat. Bring the beef strips back until golden brown, then remove and reserve.

4. Stir fry garlic, ginger and vegetables:
In the same pan add garlic and ginger. Keep them coming back until they give off a perfume. Add peppers, carrots and steamed broccoli and simmer for 4-5 minutes.

5. Add mushrooms and beef:
Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and continue cooking 2-3 minutes. Put the beef back in the skillet, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.

6. Finishing up and serving:
Mix it all together and let cook 1 to 2 more minutes. Serve hot, topped with toasted sesame seeds, accompanied by boiled rice.

Tip:
Add a pinch of chili powder or a few drops of chili sauce for a spicy twist. 🌶️
