Crispy Ritz Cracker Chicken

 

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or chicken tenders)
1 sleeve of Ritz crackers (about 30 crackers), crushed
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

Prepare the Chicken:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Make the Coating:

Place the crushed Ritz crackers in a shallow dish.
In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika (if using).
Coat the Chicken:

Dip each chicken breast into the butter mixture, ensuring it’s well coated.
Roll the chicken in the crushed Ritz crackers, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs to the surface.
Bake the Chicken:

Arrange the coated chicken breasts on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes (20-25 minutes for tenders), or until the chicken is golden brown, crispy, and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Serve:

Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Pair with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
