Cheesy Beef Burritos with a Crunchy Twist

 

Ingredients:
– 1 cup shredded cheese
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 cup crunchy tortilla strips
– 1 can refried beans
– 1 packet taco seasoning
– 4 large flour tortillas
– 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
– 1/4 cup chopped onions
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1 cup lettuce, shredded

Instructions:
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is brown. Drain excess fat.

2. Stir in the taco seasoning and add a little water if needed. Mix well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

3. While the beef is cooking, warm the flour tortillas in a separate pan to make them pliable.

4. Spread a layer of refried beans on each tortilla, then add a generous portion of the seasoned beef.

5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef, and top with diced tomatoes and chopped onions.

6. Carefully roll the tortillas up tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.

7. Place the burritos seam side down in a baking dish. Top each burrito with a dollop of sour cream and a handful of crunchy tortilla strips for that extra twist!

8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. Remove from the oven and garnish with shredded lettuce. Serve hot and enjoy the crispy, cheesy goodness!
