Sizzling Surf and Turf Delight

Ingredients:
– 8 oz steak (your choice of cut)
– 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
– 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions:
1. Start by seasoning the steak generously with salt, pepper, and paprika. Let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes while you prepare the shrimp.

2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the shrimp and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the shrimp is pink and opaque. Drizzle the lemon juice over the shrimp, then remove from the skillet and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Place the seasoned steak in the pan, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust the time according to your preferred doneness.

4. When the steak is near the desired doneness, add butter to the skillet and spoon the melted butter over the steak for added flavor.

5. Once cooked, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.

6. Slice the steak and arrange it on a plate alongside the sautéed shrimp. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

7. Serve hot and enjoy your hearty surf and turf delight!
