Copycat KFC Coleslaw

The Perfect Tangy and Creamy Side Dish

Ingredients
For the Coleslaw:
8 cups finely shredded green cabbage (about 1 medium head) 🥬
1/4 cup shredded carrots 🥕
2 tablespoons minced white onion 🧅
For the Dressing:
1/2 cup mayonnaise 🥛
1/4 cup granulated sugar 🧂
1/4 cup milk 🥛
1/4 cup buttermilk 🥛
2 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 🍋
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt 🧂
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables
Finely chop or shred the cabbage and carrots.
Mince the white onion. Combine all the vegetables in a large mixing bowl.
Step 2: Make the Dressing
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Combine and Chill
Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture. Toss well to ensure all the vegetables are evenly coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavors meld together.
Serving Suggestions
