Sweet & Savory Caramelized Pulled Beef Brisket

Ingredients:
– 3 pounds beef brisket
– 1 large onion, sliced
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1/2 cup soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:
1. Begin by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and let it warm.

2. Season the brisket with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Once the skillet is hot, sear the brisket on all sides until beautifully browned (about 4-5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onions until they become translucent and fragrant. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.

4. Stir in the brown sugar, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar, mixing well to create a caramelized glaze.

5. Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.

6. Return the seared brisket to the skillet, cover it, and reduce the heat to low. Let it cook for about 3 to 4 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easy to shred.

7. Once cooked, remove the brisket from the skillet and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before shredding it with two forks.

8. Serve the pulled brisket drizzled with the sweet and savory sauce over rice, in a sandwich, or with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
