Crispy Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings

Ingredients
For the Chicken Wings
Chicken wings 🍗: 2 lbs (drums and flats separated)
Baking powder 🥄: 2 tsp
Salt and black pepper 🧂: To taste
Garlic powder 🧄: 1 tsp
For the Honey Sriracha Glaze
Honey 🍯: 1/3 cup
Sriracha sauce 🌶️: 1/4 cup (adjust to taste)
Soy sauce 🍶: 2 tbsp
Butter 🧈: 2 tbsp, melted
Lime juice 🍋: 1 tbsp
Sesame seeds 🌿: 1 tbsp (optional, for garnish)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Wings
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
Pat the chicken wings 🍗 dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder 🥄, salt, black pepper 🧂, and garlic powder 🧄.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
2️⃣ Bake the Wings
Bake the wings for 25 minutes.
Flip the wings and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
3️⃣ Make the Honey Sriracha Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine honey 🍯, Sriracha 🌶️, soy sauce 🍶, melted butter 🧈, and lime juice 🍋.
Heat over low-medium heat, stirring until the glaze thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
4️⃣ Toss the Wings
Remove the baked wings from the oven and place them in a large bowl.
Pour the glaze over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
5️⃣ Serve
Arrange the wings on a platter and garnish with sesame seeds 🌿 and extra lime wedges 🍋. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
Pro Tip:
For extra crispiness, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes after glazing.
