Cheesy Bacon and Ground Beef Pasta

 

Ingredients:

250g rigatoni pasta

250g ground beef

4 slices of bacon, chopped

1 small onion, diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

1½ cups (180g) shredded cheddar cheese

½ tsp paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta: Boil the rigatoni pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.

3. Brown the beef: In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Remove excess grease if necessary.

4. Sauté onions and garlic: Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute.

5. Make the sauce: Lower the heat and add the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and paprika. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

6. Combine: Add the cooked pasta and crispy bacon to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat everything evenly.

7. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy your creamy, cheesy pasta dish!
