Mixed Grill Platter with Fresh Salad

 

Ingredients:

For the Meat Marinade:

500g beef cubes (sirloin or tenderloin)
500g chicken cubes (breast or thigh)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp chili powder (optional)
For the Vegetables:

8 pearl onions, peeled
4 small tomatoes, halved
Olive oil, for brushing
For the Salad:

2 cups fresh parsley, chopped
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp sumac
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste
Instructions:

Marinate the Meat:

In a large bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, and chili powder.
Divide the marinade in half, using one for the beef cubes and the other for the chicken cubes.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Prepare the Vegetables:

Toss the pearl onions and tomato halves in a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
Grill the Meat and Vegetables:

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Thread the beef and chicken cubes onto separate skewers.
Grill the beef and chicken for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
Grill the pearl onions and tomatoes until charred and tender.
Make the Salad:

Combine parsley, red onion, and sumac in a bowl.
Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Add salt to taste and toss gently.
Assemble the Platter:

Arrange the beef and chicken skewers on a large serving platter.
Add the grilled pearl onions, tomatoes, and fresh salad on the side.
Serve this hearty and colorful mixed grill platter with warm flatbread or rice for a complete meal! 🥗🔥
