Taco Ring Recipe

 

Ingredients:
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 package taco seasoning
– 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
– 1 can crescent roll dough
– 1 cup diced tomatoes
– 1/2 cup chopped onions
– 1/2 cup sliced black olives
– 1 cup lettuce
– 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
3. Add the taco seasoning and a little water, then stir to combine. Let it simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
4. Take the crescent roll dough and unroll it. Arrange the triangles in a circle on a pizza stone or baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends in the center.
5. Spoon the seasoned beef onto the dough, then sprinkle on the shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, and sliced black olives.
6. Fold the points of the dough over the filling, tucking them under to secure. Leave the center open.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
8. Once out of the oven, garnish with fresh lettuce and dollops of sour cream. Serve hot and enjoy!
