BROILED LOBSTER TAIL
- Succulent lobster tails broiled to perfection with a buttery garlic-lemon sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
4 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
1/3 cup butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges, for serving
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Preheat the broiler and position the oven rack 6–8 inches from the heat source.
Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of the shell lengthwise to the tail fin. Gently pull the shell apart and lift the meat, leaving it attached at the base. Rest the meat on top of the shell.
2. Make the Garlic Butter:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Season the Lobster Tails:
Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture. Reserve some for basting during cooking.
4. Broil the Lobster Tails:
Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with foil.
Broil for 8–10 minutes, basting with the remaining garlic butter halfway through. The lobster is done when the meat is opaque and slightly golden.
5. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
PRO TIPS:
Perfect Doneness: Lobster meat should reach an internal temperature of 140°F for juicy, tender results.
Extra Flavor: Add a pinch of cayenne or Old Bay seasoning to the butter for a spicy kick.
Pairing Suggestions: Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, roasted asparagus, or a crisp salad.
This dish is an elegant treat for any special occasion! 🦞🍋✨
