Caramelized Baked Chicken
Ingredients:
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 lemon, sliced
– Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and rub to coat evenly.
3. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
4. Arrange the lemon slices on top of and around the chicken.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
6. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
